Sharing instead of Purchasing!
Are you part of a non-profit association or an initiative and need equipment for your activities or public relations work? Not every group needs to buy their own projector, pavilion or moderation materials. You can rent these equipment easily at cost price at the Haus des Engagements!
This is how it works:
Step 1. Create an account
Step 2. Search for the equipment online and book it for your time slot
Step 3. Receive the confirmation email from your booking
Step 4. Pick up your equipment with a deposit and small rental fee at the HdE
Step 5. Use the equipment for your activities
Step 6. Return the equipment and get your deposit back
1. Create a user account
Please note our terms and conditions for our privacy policy. By using our equipment rental service, you agree to the terms and conditions of our privacy policy.
2. Select and reserve the equipment you need from the catalog on our platform
Mark the date from the calendar on the respective equipment (product) page. Check your reservation of the equipment in the shopping cart. Confirm your reservation by clicking “Book Now” to complete the rental process and a confirmation email will be sent to you.
3. Booking and Payment
The rental equipment will be handed over after the payment of the rental fees and a cash deposit. The cash deposit will be refunded immediately after you return the rental equipment in the original condition it was rented in. Your rental fees finances our operation on the rental service as well as the maintenance of our rental equipment.
4. Picking up the rental equipment
You can pick up the rental items at the Haus des Engagements, Rehlingstr. 9 (Building in the back), 79100 Freiburg during the opening hours of our rental office.
Monday : 09:00 – 12:30 pm und 16:00 -18:00 pm
Tuesday : 09:00 – 12:30 pm
Wednesday und Thursday: 09:00 – 12:30 pm und 17:00 -18:00 pm
Friday: 09:00 – 14:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday geschlossen
For your convenience, at the front door of the HdE, a three-wheeled E-Lastenvelo 04 (E-Christiania Cargobike) could be reserved for free for your pickup of the rental equipment. The portal to reserve the three-wheeled E-Lastenvelo is at lastenvelofreiburg.de.
